Our Solemn Hour- Chapter 7Chapter Seven- A New TerrorOur Solemn Hour- Chapter 7
The days that followed after the Meeting had been a mess for Painted Cloud. Ever since hearing the arrival of these strange rogue cats at the Meeting she had been on the edge. Something told the black and white she-cat that the disapearing, bloody paw prints she had seen on Jagged Paw's first training session were somehow linked to these rogues. Painted Cloud couldn't explain the feeling, but the feeling was there, and it always came to her whenever she spotted the rogue cats hunting on the small section of field that Ghost Haze had allowed them to hunt on.
Painted Cloud let out a sigh, sw

Our Solemn Hour- Chapter 6Chapter Six- The MeetingOur Solemn Hour- Chapter 6
"I'm not allowed to go? Why not!?" Ice Paw demanded, drawing his gaze away from the full moon that hovered in the twilight sky to his mentor that stood a pace or so away in front of him. "I've been training hard these past few days!"
"Yes, but you went fox hunting without permission," Spotted Deer pointed out, narrowing her eyes. "Mountain Snow told me especially that you and Blossom Paw are not to attend the Meeting. You can spend the night hunting for the prey you need to make up for dishonoring the tribe."

Slowly, the tabby she-cat padded over to a small group of warriors gathered around the pile of prey. They looked up as the healer approac

Our Solemn Hour-Chapter 4Chapter Four- Twisting Thorn's WorriesOur Solemn Hour-Chapter 4
The stench of blood and death clouded thickly in the air. Twisting Thorn opened his eyes, and found himself running along a well trodden trail across a broad expanse of field. The wind roared in his ears, and the drum of many paw steps echoed his own. Twisting Thorn glanced his golden eyes up to the sky, which was as dark as the darkest night. The sun blazed twice its normal size, glowing with the color of blood. When he looked over his shoulder the cats behind him moved in blurred motions. Their pelts were cast in deep shadows by the black sky above, and there was a red glint to their eyes.
